Duane Eddy (left) - Bob Berryhill (right)
This week Bob was blessed with the opportunity to meet one of his biggest guitar influences, Duane Eddy. Bob was invited to join a private birthday bash put on for Duane at the Musician's Hall Of Fame Museum in Nashville, TN. Mr. Eddy is considered to be the one of the musical links between 1950's rockabilly and 1960's surf music. Many of you remember Duane's signature instrumental guitar hits like Rebel Rouser, Ramrod and Peter Gunn. In our March newsletter we featured a picture with Duane Eddy and Bob's Fender Reverb unit. Bob said "Meeting Duane Eddy was one the highlights of my musical career. It was an honor to meet one of the guitarists who inspired me to play guitar. Duane is a great guy and I appreciated the opportunity to connect with him."
